Kellie M. Martin is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include the lead role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was born to a department shop buyer and an elementary school teacher. The actress began her acting career as a child at the age of seven. her Aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, helped Martin to be an actor on the television show Father Murphy. In the years following the time of her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting, and managed to land substantial roles in both television and cinema. Martin was also a photographer and a dancer. Martin's sister, who died of Lupus at age 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
