Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining some fame. An California native, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. However, she later decided to focus on a career in acting. In a CBS"NCIS," she made her debut "NCIS", she debuted in the year 2010. The biographical crime drama film J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year following. She became one of the top young actors on the scene over the next few years. She was nominated in 2011 for an Young Artist Award in the category of the Best Performance by Young Actresses 11-15 for her role on NCIS. The actress was also nominated 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest star on Disney XD's comedic series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano starred in Mom's first three seasons, and she also appeared in several episodes in the fourth season. Her outing in 'Mom' was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
